BERLIN | NEW YORK (IDN) – Ahead of the inauguration of Donald Trump as 45th President of the United States on January 20, analysts are far from certain whether he would take to policies that reduce nuclear dangers or resort to actions resulting in a suicidal arms race.

The guessing game is taking place against the backdrop of the United Nations General Assembly having confirmed that beginning March 2017, it would hold a conference open to all member states, to negotiate a “legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons, leading towards their total elimination”. 일본의 키시다 후미오 외무장관이2013년에 창설한 비핵특사 경험자가 모이는  [제2회 Youth비핵특사 포럼](본회의장; 나가사끼대학 의학부)이 열려, 비핵 Youth특사들은 세계의 모든 사람들에대하여 핵무기는 막대한 경비가 드는 병기임과 동시에 그존재에 의하여 국제평화와 안전보장,지구환경, 더나아가서는 인류의 존속 그자체가 위협을받는 현실을 인식해야 한다고 호소하였다.

이번의 비핵Youth특사들은 71년전의 히로시마와 함께 원폭참화에 위문을한 나가사끼에 모여 핵없는 세계의 실현을 향한 행동실천의 긴박한 필요성을 호소해나가도록 결의함과 함께 그목표를 달성시키기 위하여 일련의 제언  (「젊은이 들에의한 핵무기없는 세계를 추구하는 성명과 제언」）을발표했다。

国連、核兵器禁止条約交渉会議に道開く

【ジュネーブ／ニューヨークIDN＝ジャムシェッド・バルーア】

国連総会が、「核兵器を禁止しその完全廃絶につなげるような法的拘束力のある文書」を交渉するすべての加盟国に開かれた会議を２０１７年３月から開始することを決定した。ニューヨークの国連本部で開催される予定のこの会議は、３月２７日から３１日と６月１５日から７月７日の２つの会期に分かれている。

「この歴史的な決定は、多国間の核軍縮努力が２０年にわたって麻痺している状態に終わりを告げるものであり、（米ロ）二大核武装国が核兵器を巡ってさや当てを続ける状況の中でなされたものだ」と「核兵器廃絶国際キャンペーン」（ICAN）はコメントした。

｜長崎国際会議｜ユース非核特使、核兵器のない世界を求める

岸田文雄外務大臣が２０１３年に創設したユース非核特使経験者が集う「第二回ユース非核特使フォーラム」（会場：長崎大学医学部）が開かれ、非核ユース特使らは、世界の人々に対して、核兵器は膨大なコストがかかる兵器であると同時に、その存在により国際平和や安全保障、地球環境、さらには人類の存続そのものが脅かされている現実を認識するよう訴えた。

今回非核ユース特使らは、７１年前に広島とともに原爆の惨禍に見舞われた長崎に集い、核なき世界の実現に向けて動く緊急の必要性を訴えていくことを誓うとともに、その目標を達成するための一連の提言（「若者による核兵器のない世界を求める声明と提言」）を発表した。
